New Recipe ~ Crock Pot Pizza Bake! | Kid Approved!

Check out this super-easy & kid approved Crockpot Pizza Bake Recipe!  It’s a favorite of my kids and it is so easy to make!  Grab all the details below:

 

 

Ingredients:

16oz Thicker Noodles (I like Rigatoni)

16oz package Mozzarella Cheese

1 package pepperoni slices

1/2 – 1lb ground beef or ground turkey

1 jar Pasta or pizza Sauce

***you can also add in diced tomatoes, onions, peppers…..anything you choose!

 

 

Directions:

  1.  Brown your ground beef/ground turkey.  Also boil water & cook your noodles.  (I use the entire package of noodles)
  2. Layer the botton of your crockpot with half the noodles, half the ground beef/turkey, and layer with mozzarella cheese.
  3. In a bowl, mix the rest of your noodles & meat.  Place above your first layer.  Add a layer of mozzarelli cheese & pepperoni!
  4. Bake in the crockpot for a good 1 hour 1 1/2 hours on low heat.
  5. Serve Hot & delicious!
  6. Enjoy!

EASY PEASY CAPRESE CHICKEN RECIPE ~ 🍗

Need a new recipe that simple & delicious???  Then check out this yummy Caprese Chicken Recipe!  With just a few simple ingredients, you can have this ready for your family in under 30 minutes!

Grab all the details to this recipe below:

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10 – 12 large basil leaves, chopped finely
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • balsamic vinegar, to taste

Directions:

  1.  Salt and pepper both sides of chicken breasts.
  2. Warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a medium size saute pan on medium heat.  Add in chicken / cover pan & cook for 10-12 minutes or as needed.  Be sure to flip chicken breasts and fully cook on both sides!
  3. Remove your chicken to a plate and cover with foil.  
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to your pan & add your garlic.  Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Next, add in your tomatoes & saute for around 5 or so minutes.  You will know the tomatoes are ready once they start to wrinkle!  Add in your basil & return your cooked chicken to the pan.
  6. Top 2 slices of the mozzarella to each chicken breast.
  7. Cover your pan and allow the mozzarella to melt for 2-3 minutes.  
  8. You can drizzle with balsamic vinegar (optional)
  9. Serve & enjoy!

CHEESY TACO RECIPE ~ Kid approved recipe!

Looking for a simple yummy meal that the entire family can enjoy???  Then check out this super easy Cheesey Taco Pasta recipe!  Ready in just minutes and everyone will love it!

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups pasta shells
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (I use low sodium)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Brown your 1lb of ground beef.  Be sure to drain all the fat.  
  2. While the ground beef is cooking…..cook your pasta shells & drain well.  (Hold off to the side)
  3. Add the taco seasoning and 3/4 cup of water to the browned & drained ground beef.  Stir and cook until the water is gone.
  4. Add the pasta back into the pot with the salsa and cheese.
  5. Stir to combine.
  6. Serve right away & enjoy!

WHAT’S COOKIN….HONEY BBQ MEATOAF RECIPE!

Love meatloaf???  Then definitely try this Honey BBQ Meatloaf recipe!  It is so yummy & has the perfect honey BBQ taste that you are sure to love!  This is another simply & easy recipe that you can add to your list of family favorites!

Honey BBQ Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef (you can use ground turkey)

1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

1 tablespoon….plus 2 additional teaspoons of worcestershire sauce

4 tablespoons of Honey BBQ Sauce

1 tablespoon of honey

salt & pepper

 

Directions:

  1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, panko bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce,  1 tablespoon dijon mustard & 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.  Add salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the mixture and place in a sprayed baking dish.  
  4. In a small bowl, whisk 1 tablespoon of bbq sauce, the remaining 2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce & the tablespoon of honey.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.  Once cooked, let cool for a few minutes & serve!  Enjoy!

RECIPE: CILANTRO LIME CHICKEN TACOS | YUMMY & EASY!

Hungry????  Be sure to try out this super-yummy & easy Crockpot Cilantro Lime Taco Recipe….that your family is sure to love!  This recipe takes very little prep time and is very friendly for your grocery budget!

Grab all the details below:

 

Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos

Ingredients:

2lbs. Bonesless Chicken Breast

(1) 16oz Jar of Salsa

1 – Packet of Taco Seasoning (I use the low sodium)

Juice from 2 limes

1/2 cup of chopped fresh cilantro

 

Directions:

  1.  Place chicken breasts on the bottom of your crockpot.  Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the top of the chicken.  Add the entire jar of salsa, juice from the 2 limes & cilantro.
  2. Cover with crockpot lid and set on low for 6-7 hours.  
  3. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred with a fork.  Moisten chicken with the juice from the crockpot….I usually add around 1/2 cup of the juice. (You can always save the remainder juice to refresh your left-overs!)
  4. Serve with taco shells or tortillas, add your favorite topping like cheese, sour cream, avocado….or anything you would like!  Enjoy!

CROCKPOT CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS | YUMMY COMFORT FOOD

Check out this super-easy & yummy recipe for crockpot Chicken & Dumplings!  This is such an easy recipe that the entire family will love!  The best part is that the recipe is really easy to make!

Grab all the details below on how you can make this for your family:

 

CROCKPOT CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups chicken broth (preferably low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • black pepper to taste 

Directions:

  1. Add diced onion to the bottom of your crock pot and top with chicken breasts.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, parsley,  and pepper. Spread mixture over chicken breasts. Top with chicken broth and cook on high 4 hours.
  3. Flatten each biscuit & cut into cubes. Add vegetables and biscuit cubes to the slow cooker and stir.  Cook for an additional 1 hour on high.
  4. Remove chicken breasts and shred. Add back into slow cooker and stir.   Let cook an additional 10 – 15  minutes.  Top with fresh parsley – optional.

NO BAKE CHOCOLATE ECLAIR CAKE RECIPE! | SO EASY & YUMMY

Looking for a super-yummy and easy dessert for your next party???  This No Bake Chocolate Eclair Cake is definitely a crowd-pleaser dessert!  It has the perfect mixture of creamy pudding, fluffy graham crackers and of course….yummy chocolate!  Not to mention, it’s one of the easiest recipes I know!

Check out this amazing recipe below and be sure to give it a try for your next gathering:

 

No-Bake Yummy Chocolate Eclair Cake

Ingredients:

(2) Boxes of Instant French Vanilla Pudding

3 cups of milk

(1) 8oz container of Cool Whip or Whipped Topping

1 Box Graham Crackers

 

Chocolate Topping:

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

 

Directions:

  1.  Place a layer of graham crackers (1) package on the bottom of a 9×13″ dish
  2. MIXTURE:  Combine (2) packages of French Vanilla Pudding mix & 3 cups of milk….beat until well mixed.  Stir in the Cool Whip.
  3. Spread 1/2 of the French Vanilla pudding mixture over the 1st layer of graham crackers.
  4. Repeat with another layer of graham crackers and put the remainder of the French Vanilla pudding on top of the graham crackers.
  5. CHOCOLATE TOPPING:  Bring cocoa, milk and sugar to a full boil…be sure to stir frequently.  Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.  Add in the butter and vanilla.  Be sure to stir well until the butter is completely melted!
  6. Pour the chocolate topping over the top layer of graham crackers….be sure to spread it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate overnight……and ENJOY!!!!

CROCKPOT CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP | EASY & DELICIOUS!

Fall is here ……and its time for some yummy & warm soup!  Try out this super-easy and delicous recipe for Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup!  It is the perfect recipe for a warm and hearty soup!

This recipe will easily yield 8-servings….ENJOY!!!!

CROCKPOT CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP

8 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1  1/2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 16 oz. jar salsa
  • (1) 15 oz can of black beans rinsed & drained
  • (1) 15 oz can of whole kernal corn drained

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon  ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teapsoon cayenne pepper
  • The juice from (1) lemon or lime
 Instructions:
  1. First place the chicken breasts on the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Pour the salsa and chicken broth into the crockpot and make sure to move around the chicken breasts in the liquid.
  3. In a small bowl, combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Toss to combine.
  4. Add your seasonings, corn, beans, and lemon/lime juice to the crockpot. Give it a good stir, cover & cook for 6-8 hours on low or 4-6 hours on high.
  5. For the last 30 minutes of cooking, shred the chicken & then continue cooking for the last 30 minutes.
  6. Serve chicken tortilla soup with cilantro, cheese. green onions or any topping you would like!
  7. ENJOY!!!!

Aldi Budget Meal Recipe: Chili Lime Salmon

This Chili Lime salmon recipe is so delicious and affordable for your budget!  The key is in the seasoning…..it makes the Salmon perfectly moist and delicious!

Get together all the ingredients below and give it a try!

 

Ingredients:

Servings:  4

 

4 Salmon Fillets ( I use wild caught salmon…Sea Queen brand)

Juice from 2 limes

1- green bell pepper

1-red bell pepper

1-yellow bell pepper

1-orange bell pepper

1- small onion – cut into wedges

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of water

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 – 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (depending on how spicy you want it)

1 teaspoon Cumin

salt & pepper to taste

**2 cups cooked Instant Brown Rice (Fit and Active brand) optional

** top with Mango Bean Salsa or salsa of your choice

 

Cooking Directions:

  1.  Preheat the oven on high to broil.  Grab a cooking tray and spray with cooking oil.
  2. Whisk together the following ingredients:  lime juice, olive oil, water, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, cumin, salt.
  3. Arrange the salmon fillets on the cooking sheet….pepper them for taste.  In a single layer, arrange the vegetables around the salmon.  Pour the marinade over the salmon & vegetables….use it all!
  4. Optional:  Prepare 4 cups of cooked brown rice.
  5. Broil until the salmon starts to brown on the top and edges (about 10-12 minutes)
  6. Take salmon out and de-skin before serving.  If vegetables aren’t as soft as you would like them, return them in the oven for additional cooking.
  7. Plate & serve!

ALDI BUDGET RECIPE | TOMATO SPINACH PASTA!

 

This recipe is perfect for the entire family.  It is so simple to make too!  I got all my ingredients for amazing prices at Aldi!

Below are all the details for this recipe….. be sure to give it a try for your next meal:

 

TOMATO SPINACH PASTA

Ingredients:

1/2 Bag Spinach (I used the Little Salad Bar bag from Aldi)

2 cups uncooked Pasta

1 small onion

1 can Diced Tomatoes

1 – 1 1/2 cups of favorite Pasta Sauce

 

1 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tsp Minced Garlic

Small pinch of Red Pepper Flakes

1/2 tsp dried Oregano or Italian Seasoning

Salt & Pepper to taste

Top with Grated Parmesan Cheese

 

**  This recipe will make 4 Full Servings and when served with homemade garlic bread….will cost under $5.00 to make!

  1.  Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your pasta for 7-10 minutes.
  2. While your pasta is cooking, dice your small onion.  Add olive oil, diced onion and garlic in a pan and heat on low for 5 minutes.
  3. Add in the following ingredients to the onion & garlic mixture:  diced tomatoes (do not drain), Oregano or Italian Seasoning, Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes, pasta sauce, salt & pepper.
  4. Stir for 3-5 minutes on low heat.
  5. Add in the spinach and cook for 5 minutes (spinach will wilt down in size)
  6. After spinach has cooked, add in the cooked pasta and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.  Be sure to stir all the ingredients together!
  7. Let pasta cool before serving.  Top with grated parmesan cheese.

 

HOMEMADE GARLIC BREAD

4 tbsp of butter

1/2 tsp minced garlic

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Heat butter and minced garlic in small sauce pan.  Pour mixture on top of Baguette an place in oven for 5-7 minutes.
